1. The service
Home of Fight LLC (“HOF Cards”, “we”) sells trading cards on behalf of consignors (“you”) through live auctions on Whatnot. By creating a submission you agree to these terms.
2. Eligible cards
You may only consign cards you own outright. Cards should have a fair market value of at least $10, and each submission is limited to 50 cards. We may decline, group into lots, or return any item at our discretion. Counterfeit, altered or trimmed cards will be reported and returned at your expense.
3. Shipping and risk
You are responsible for packaging, shipping costs, insurance and any customs charges until we confirm receipt in writing (your submission status changes to Received). After confirmation, we are responsible for the cards in our care until they ship to the buyer.
4. Auction format
Every card is offered at auction starting at $1 with no reserve and sells to the highest bidder. You may not bid on your own items, directly or through others.
5. Fees
Submitting is free. Fees consist of (a) our flat commission (currently 18%) on each sale, as published on the Rates page at the time of the sale, and (b) the Whatnot platform fee (currently 11%). All fees are deducted from proceeds; nothing is charged in advance.
6. Payouts
Net proceeds are sent after your submission has fully sold and the show is reconciled, to the payout method on your profile. You are responsible for keeping that information accurate and for any taxes on your proceeds.
7. Returns and cancellations
You may request unlisted cards back at your expense. Cards that have been listed on a show cannot be withdrawn. We may cancel a submission and return items at your expense for breach of these terms.
8. Data
We store your name, contact details, Whatnot username and payout information solely to run the consignment service and communicate with you. We do not sell your data.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and our rates. Changes apply to submissions created after the change is published. Questions: hofcards@homeoffight.com.
